Harry Saxton

Harry joined gvo3 & Associates following a distinguished career with major international automotive manufacturer captive finance company. With a strong field operations background, Harry retired and joined gvo3 & Associates in order to continue to assist automotive retailers.

During his 31 years with the captive, Harry managed consumer finance portfolios, dealer wholesale and loan portfolios, corporate credit organizations and field credit review groups. He has held central office field management positions both domestically and internationally. Harry’s extensive dealership experience and management background provide our clients unparalleled dealership operations guidance.

Harry holds a BA from the University of Delaware and is certified with the Institute for Ethical Behavior.

Jamie Taylor 

Jamie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) whose career focus has been serving the automotive industry.    His automotive background includes audit and accounting at both publicly-traded and privately-held automotive groups.  Previous positions range from Internal Audit Director to Controller.

Jamie holds a BBA in Accounting from Georgia Southern University and has been a CPA for more than 20 years.   He has expertise in Internal Controls, Corporate Governance, Risk Assessment and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance.  His prior experience includes public accounting at both local and national firms performing operational, financial and compliance engagements.

Joe Bartolone

Joe joined gvo3 & Associates following a successful 20 year career with Reynolds & Reynolds, including nine years with COIN Dealership Systems. Prior to Reynolds & Reynolds, Joe spent fifteen years in sales and F&I at Phil Tolkan Pontiac in Milwaukee.

While at Reynolds & Reynolds, Joe held several sales positions providing computer based solutions to automotive retailers and auto manufacturers. His roles included direct sales and sales management, as well as national account management with Ford Motor Company. Joe’s experience with dealer management systems, dealership forms and dealership process improvement will be a great addition to the gvo3 & Associates team.

Joe attended the University of Wisconsin and is certified through the Institute for Ethical Behavior Joe is also a monthly contributor to the F&I Management & Technology Magazine.

Penelope Bell

Penelope joined gvo3 & Associates following a successful career as a Senior Research Consultant at LexisNexis in Dayton, Ohio. As a Senior Research Consultant, Penelope was responsible for assisting LexisNexis subscribers with their news, financial and public records research needs, mentoring peers, training implementation, and quality control. Her experience in leadership and quality control is an asset to gvo3 & Associates.

Penelope holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Dayton. In addition to her consulting duties, she is also handles the Marketing responsibilities for gvo3 & Associates.

Terry Trottier

Terry joined gvo3 & Associates following his retirement as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of distinguished service in the US Air Force. After the Air Force he also held positions as a sales consultant with Sears Holding Corporation and a local automotive dealership.

During his 21 years in the Air Force he managed several multi-million dollar equipment accounts maintaining proper auditing, tracking, distribution, and disposal as necessary. He also instrumented the training and mentoring of future AF leaders.

Terry holds an AS in applied science from the Community College of the Air Force.

Gary Petty

Gary joined gvo3 & Associates following a 33 year career with a major automotive captive finance company serving Automobile and Truck retailers as a Branch Manager. Gary gained extensive knowledge of both the automotive and financial services industry while managing field operations responsible for consumer finance, commercial finance, dealer wholesale and loan portfolios. Following retirement he joined gvo3 & Associates to continue his passion for and support to automotive retailers.

Greg Oltman

Greg joins gvo3 & Associates following a successful 26 year career with the Van Tuyl (VT)/Berkshire Hathaway Automotive (BHA) and MPP Co. Inc.

While at Van Tuyl/Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, Greg held several sales and management positions. His career started in a Kansas City dealership where he distinguished himself as a high potential difference maker, earning Corporate Regional Finance Director responsibilities and ultimately National Director of Finance and Insurance for Van Tuyl/Berkshire Hathaway Automotive.

As Director of Finance Greg’s corporate duties included responsibility for all Van Tuyl/Berkshire Hathaway Automotive stores Finance Department’s day to day operations.

Greg holds a BS degree from Missouri State University and is certified with the Institute for Ethical Behavior. Greg is also a member of DealerTrack’s Dealer Council.

Ben Fabre

Ben joined gvo3 & Associates after 16 years of audit and consulting experience in the automotive industry. His automotive background includes six years of external auditing at a large regional CPA firm and ten years of internal auditing at two of the top publicly traded automotive groups. He has also spent time as a controller for a privately held dealership.

Ben holds a BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University. During his career, he’s audited all aspects of a dealership. His expertise includes financial, operational, and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, as well as extensive experience in F&I compliance.

Lisa Wooten

Lisa Wooten joins gvo3 & Associates with over 22 years in the automotive retail industry. Lisa spent the last 15 years with a large publicly traded automotive group. Many of those years were in the role of Regional Director of Financial Services and three years spent in a National Operations Compliance Director role. As a regional director, she was responsible for as many as 52 finance managers in as many as four states for their training, production, and compliance. In the National Operations Compliance Director role, Lisa participated in the development of compliance policy for the company and the training materials related to that policy as well as participating in executing the policy throughout the company.

Lisa has a BS in Accounting from Liberty University and prior to joining the automotive industry in 1994 was employed with a Fortune 500 granite mining group in the area of Financial Planning and Forecast.

Darren Saxton

Darren joined gvo3 & Associates following a successful 20-year career as an information technology consultant and managing partner in both public and privately held companies.  As a Principal IT Consultant, Darren has engineered networks, supported systems, documented processes, and performed baseline security audits for various IT infrastructures in the automotive, financial, and healthcare industries.

Working as a certified digital forensic examiner, Darren gained experience in litigation, acquisition, examination, and reporting of digital forensic data.  Darren holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
